Home   What We Do

Cameron’s Shoes was founded to collect new and lightly used shoes for the poor and underprivileged children of Colombia, South America. Cameron’s Shoes, in conjunction with the Colombia Mission, travels to Cali, Colombia to offer free medical treatments and a free pair of new or lightly used shoes to the needy.

Every year we host several events to raise funds for the shipping of shoes to various locations around the globe. Cameron’s Shoes Fun Run 5K was our first annual event and takes place in Eunice, LA. It has been a huge success gaining us visibility with the community and spreading our message. Cameron’s Shoes “Taste of Colombia” was our second event that takes place in Baton Rouge, LA. Last year’s event was very successful allowing us to give our contributors a small taste of the culture, food, and people of Colombia. Both of these events have allowed us to expand our distributions to Uganda, Africa and Eastern Kentucky.

Our newest and possibly the most exciting event will take place this year on May 11th. We will be hosting the first annual Cameron’s Shoes Soleman Triathlon in Sunshine, LA, just a stone’s throw from Baton Rouge, LA. The race will consist of a 640 meter swim followed by a 12 mile bike ride on River Road, and ending with a 5K trail run. We are hoping that this event will be as successful as our other events and allow us to expand our operations even further.

Please help if you can. Thank you for visiting our page and God Bless.
